Step 1 – Share your inspiration
Our service is unique to you and so we will guide you through the design of your piece. That said, we want to make sure it fits your bespoke requirements, so we recommend sharing some ideas of the style of item that you would like initially.
This includes any specific criteria such as diamond quality and your budget when you begin the process.
Contact us today to start the design process by completing one of the following:
– Submitting the contact form
– E-mailing to sheardjewels@outlook.com
– Calling directly on (+44) 07729 281 114
We will reply to you with design ideas and gemstone options.
We understand how busy life can be, so we are happy to work with you over e-mail and video call, showing you a selection of relevant pieces and stones to find the perfect piece that is unique to you.
Alternatively, we can book you in for a 1-2-1 appointment at our London or Surrey based premises to discuss and view the pieces in person.
If you decide to proceed with us, please note that a deposit of 50% is required once you have chosen your perfect design. The remaining balance is due upon completion.
Step 2 – Handcraft the piece
The London-based workshop will start hand-making your piece once the deposit is received.
The team of highly skilled British craftsman, including CAD Designers, mounters, setters and polishers will create the piece especially for you using the finest grade alloys which will be hallmarked by London Assay Office.
Every piece is hand-made at this high-level whether it is an engagement ring, wedding ring or another style of jewellery.
The making of the jewellery normally takes 2-3 weeks depending upon the complexity so we recommend planning ahead for your special occasion.
Step 3 – Collect the finished piece

Once the piece is finished by the workshop we will contact you to arrange an appointment to collect it.
Alternatively, we can post it to you insured and free of charge using Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery – guaranteed by 1 pm.
Final payment is due before the the piece is released. We accept payment by cash or bank transfer.
Please do not hesitate to contact Sheard Fine Jewellery (contact form) with any questions regarding this process. Please also take a look around our site and view our testimonials to read about other customers’ experiences.
